Natural Hempseed Artisan Soap is made using all-natural oils and butter. We add color to enhance its appearance, and this bar is suitable for all skin types, including those with allergies. This line will be called our "No Scent Bar," featuring beautiful, vividly colored bars without using fragrance.
As this is a vegan product, we incorporate tussah silk, which is derived from a Bombyx mori moth. Using tussah silk in the soap gives a silky feel to the skin. However, there is some debate about whether tussah silk is truly vegan. Research yields mixed opinions; some sources claim it is vegan, while others disagree. The amount used in a four-pound batch of soap is so minimal that it is virtually undetectable on a scale. Therefore, we leave it to you to decide.
To prolong the life of your handmade soap, store it on a dish with good drainage. This helps keep the bar firm and prevents it from becoming too soft.
