He can be made a male or a female. It is how you see him. His arms, legs, and head are vinyl-painted with Golden Air Dry Acrylic Paint. His hair is hand-rooted one strand at a time. His weight is 5lbs 7oz, and he is 17in long. He can wear clothes of a newborn. I have not found shoes that can be purchased for him.
You support the head as you would a human baby, and don't pick him up by his limbs. You can easily break him. Please note that these dolls are intended for collectors, mature children who would be responsible for a real baby. And women in nursing homes like these babies, too. Some collectors also use these babies to create content on platforms like YouTube.
