Jewelweed Artisan Soap
Jewelweed Artisan Soap is not an everyday soap. Jewelweed is a plant that aids in poison ivy, oak, and sumac. It usually grows near poison ivy. You can easily pick up poison ivy thinking it is jewelweed. However, jewelweed can be out year-round. I am not putting medical claims on this soap but I have been told it is good for poison ivy and bug bites.
Directions: Wash the area after being affected or bitten by a bug. Poison ivy is an oil. It needs to be washed off immediately to keep it from spreading.
Keep this soap on a soap dish to drain. Let it dry completely, and wrap it to preserve it until the next time.
